Just to let you know that my next title to be published will be the short m/m romance He Protesteth Too Much - a love story that spans an idealogical divide which starts on the opposing front lines of a protest rally.
Am expecting that the story will be available on or around 18th November 2015, subject to cover art and editing going to plan. Thanks Alp New Worlds has been produced as an audiobook, with narration by the extremely talented Stewart Campbell, who has done our other audiobook titles New Worlds will be available form major audiobook retailers on or around 20th November 2015 Thanks For Telling Me - a safe sex story - is out now - CLICK HERE
This is also my 50th title, published by the Carter Seagrove Project. There's a lot more to come and in no particular order, the following projects are in some state of WIP (there are words on a page ...)
I really do need to knuckle down and get the editing done so that we can re-publish The Great Dane Saga and Grand Affaire - two stories which were removed from the shelf a year ago and desperately need to be re-edited and re-covered. However, 500,000 words is just too daunting a prospect right now, especially as I have so much new stuff to work on. Chambers and I will soon be getting together to plan out The Inspector Fenchurch Mysteries - series 2. Agent X is the series opener and we have an outline of the story, which is set in New York for the most part. Now that Morgan Starr is on-board, there's a good chance that we'll make some progress on Trojan Horse - the Space Opera, and various screenplay ideas, including LABELS. Thank you so much for supporting me. Alp Very soon, the Project will be publishing my 50th title - 'Thanks For Telling Me' - a short story on the theme of safe sex.
I began self-publishing at the end of 2012, with no real expectations other than to have a lot of fun doing it - there really isn't anything like seeing your own book on the shelf - and it's still a lot of fun. In July/August 2014 Amazon launched Kindle Unlimited - and ransacked my business - to which I responded by removing all of my work from the Amazon shelf. I began to sell direct from my own website, and then loaded everything onto Smashwords. When The Carter Seagrove Project LLC came into existence, we had to make a choice about whether to use Amazon again or not - we did but vowed that we would never go exclusive with Amazon ever again - we still don't and won't. From 4th February 2015, the Project has been working incredibly hard to re-edit and re-cover all of my work (and publish the work of Chambers Mars, Carter Seagrove and Shannon M Kirkland), and very soon, my 50th title, published by the Project, will hit the shelves - a short, safe sex story called Thanks For Telling Me. I am thrilled of course - and immensely grateful to my colleagues who have showed such faith in me and my work. As an indie publisher comprised solely of indie authors, we rely on the support of our readers and fans - we - and I, in particular - thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the unstinting support which you have given us. Thank you so much. Alp Mortal Oswald's Lament by Alp Mortal was published today. The story is from the Weaver & Loom family of stories. Oswald's Lament is set in the time before The Boatwright and a few years after Oswald, Jonah and Magdala meet for the first time. In this story, the trio are reunited once again and celebrate their good fortune. The war is over and refugees are pouring into the city of Aubade. Two such refugees make a resounding impact: Drake, the foot soldier who escaped torture and death, steals Jonah's heart and Oswald is smitten by Dumah, a young captain of the guard. Jonah's affair is all too brief but he regains his hope for the future. Oswald falls hard for the captain but the captain is not all that he seems and, in cavorting with him, Oswald risks everything. Just when Oswald believes he has won love's greatest prize, it is snatched from his grasp, leaving him utterly forlorn. He asks a troubadour to compose a lament for him. The troubadour composes and recites the lament, giving Oswald back something which he never expected to reclaim. The Street With No Name The 5th instalment of The Tales Of The Unexpected series. Beckett is unhappy; alone, depressed and rudderless. He meets Eddie, who provides sanctuary for a while. However, just as Beckett is finally working out some of the fundamental issues which have plagued him for years, he is abandoned again. The Awakening is now available in paperback from Amazon. This is the first title to be made available in paperback by the Cater Seagrove Project LLC - and it won't be the last. Poseidon's wrath, unleashed in the face of Sven the merman's transgression, causes a tempest which destroys Jeremiah's village. Most of the villagers lose their lives. In the aftermath, Jeremiah finds Sven marooned on the beach and from him learns the reason why so many had to die. Jeremiah demands to see Poseidon and Sven reluctantly agrees to take him. Sven imparts the gift which allows Jeremiah to breathe underwater. They leave the village and make for Poseidon's palace under the ocean. But the tempest also set free the Leviathan from its ice prison, and now both worlds are at risk from complete annihilation unless the monster can be destroyed. Jeremiah accepts the challenge of defeating the creature for the prize of immortality. He travels north to rendezvous with Lord Atlantis, meeting Marcus, a merman, with whom he falls in love. Thus begins Jeremiah's awakening. Armed with Poseidon's blade, in the company of the brotherhood of the Northern Guard, with Marcus at his side, Jeremiah leads a daring plan to save the world from the Leviathan's devastation. But even when success looks certain, a fateful choice has to be made that may rob Jeremiah of his prize and his lover. |
