The dedication needed to reach this level is something I can only imagine - truly awesome. I've kinda got hooked on watching his performances - actually, I was turned on to this style of dance by Sergei Polunin's interpretation of Hozeir's Take Me To Church - here's the link to that - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-tW0CkvdDI
I also began to realise that to appreciate this form of art could be really helpful in how I decide to structure a story - I see stories rather than hear them and I describe what I see not what I hear - so there seemed to me to be some potential in sort of imagining the story as something more than just a moving picture - and a linear one at that. And toying with the ideas for the book trailer we did recently which required the blending of words, music and pictures also added a further dynamic to the process of story-telling.
I'm gonna try - particularly in action heavy scenes and not so much in the dialogue heavy ones - to use this 'flow' and 'movement' to guide things like sequencing, word choice and tension.
